Julian (Julz)
Meet Julian, affectionately known as Julz, a devoted husband and father of two. Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, he’s called Denver home since age 4.
Julz began his barbering journey at 14 but truly embraced the craft at 17. By 20, he opened his first barbershop and later sold it to start his second shop at 23.
His skills earned him the role of go-to barber for the Colorado Rockies (six seasons) and the Denver Broncos (three). He’s worked with top athletes and celebrities, including George Lopez and Vinny Castilla.
Now, as co-owner of Speakeasy Barber Lounge, Julz is renowned for his expertise, especially in high-speed fades and tapers, paired with world-class service.
David
Meet David Ramirez, a Denver native and proud father of two. His barbering journey began at 14, driven by a passion for the craft. At 21, he pursued formal training and opened his first shop by 22, showcasing both talent and ambition.
David’s career highlights include being the former barber of Nikola Jokic, a testament to his skills. After dedicating over nine years to his previous shop, he joined Speakeasy Barber Lounge at 37 as co-owner.
Known as “The G.O.A.T” by locals, David is a master of all cuts, with a particular expertise in medium fades.
Andrea (Drea)
ANDREA (DREA) WAS BORN AND RAISED IN DENVER, COLORADO, SHE DISCOVERED HER PASSION FOR HAIR EARLY ON AND BEGAN HER CAREER STRAIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL AT 17 YEARS OLD. WITH NEARLY 9 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE CHAIR, SHE SPECIALIZES IN BARBERING AND HAS DEDICATED THE PAST 5 YEARS TO PERFECTING HER CRAFT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE BARBERSHOP SETTING.
WHILE BARBERING REMAINS HER PRIMARY FOCUS, SHE’S ALSO TRAINED IN HAIR COLOR AND WORKS WITH BOTH MEN’S AND WOMEN’S STYLES. HER APPROACH BLENDS PRECISION, CREATIVITY, AND A GENUINE COMMITMENT TO HELPING EVERY CLIENT LOOK AND FEEL THEIR BEST. LOOK GOOD, FEEL GOOD!
OUTSIDE THE SHOP, SHE’S A PROUD NEW MOTHER TO A BABY BOY. FAMILY IS EVERYTHING TO HER, AND WHEN SHE’S NOT WORKING, SHE ENJOYS COMEDY, MOVIES, SPORTS, AND STAYING ACTIVE THROUGH BASKETBALL AND SOFTBALL. SHE BELIEVES A GREAT HAIRCUT IS MORE THAN JUST A STYLE — IT’S CONFIDENCE — AND SHE’S PASSIONATE ABOUT DELIVERING THAT TO EVERY PERSON WHO SITS IN HER CHAIR.

Whether it’s hat hair, product, sweat, or hair getting dirty throughout the day, it all gets in the way of a good haircut. That’s why we use a hot towel in every HAIRCUT service to clean and lift the hair up… plus, it feels awesome!
